okay. i promise i’ll get a great birthday post up… soon. but for now, here’s what we’re having so much fun with! yesterday was riott’s 1 year check-up. fortunately he happened to get sick 2 days before so we already had an appointment set up! not even 1/2 a second after the doctor put the ear/eye checker in riott’s ear she said “oh yeah! we’ve got a bulging ear drum.”… on both sides. so we currently have a DOUBLE EAR INFECTION and AND and PINK EYE (that’s caused by the ear infections) – in both eyes. ha. fun, huh?
my theory is… he’s had the infection going on for about a month now which is why he kept getting sick with “cold-like” symptoms. it wasn’t until this past weekend that his ears really started causing serious pain and problems. thankfully we have a fabulous doctor and antibiotic (yay!) and hopefully we’ll have this mess cleared up in plenty of time for Christmas. whew.

That stinks! So sorry .. sick kids are no fun. Mac had croup on Monday and I had to get him on steriods to open his darn airways … not a fun day either, but we are better now. So I am thinking mom’s night out cookie swap maybe in the next two weeks…. what do ya think?
