“clap on, clap off, the clapper!” we all know it. and we all hate it. that LAME commercial for the clapper – turn your houselights on and off, simply with a clap! well the annoying, low budget commercial came on one evening a few nights ago – while i was decorating the christmas tree. in my mind, i just try to block out any sounds that irritate me so much. but i eventually looked down at riott (who was helping me decorate) and what did i see…
riott was sitting there on the floor, legs out in front of him, staring at the tv… and clapping! hahahahaha! he was clapping with the clap on commercial. hahahah! serves me right. since then, he claps all the time – mostly while saying “yaaay”. so sweet. and it’s so funny – we didn’t notice til yesterday, everytime tyler burps (which is quite frequently b/c we have root beer in our home right now) riott claps and says “yaaay”!!! i SWEAR – we did NOT teach him this! but it is pretty hilarious!
something else new that riott’s started doing – he’ll walk up to my often bare feet and do his fingers in a tickling motion while making tickling noises in a high pitched voice (how do you type those??) “gitchy gitchy gitchy”. he tries to tickle my feet like i tickle his! how adorable!!!
