we had our first big accident last night. riott was goofing off on the couch as usual and before i knew it he had crawled over to the arm rest, bent over it as if looking down a well, and boom! he fell off onto the hardwoods and hit his head really hard – right in the center of the top of his forehead. <sniff> i don’t do well when my baby’s screaming bloody murder. so ty came and took him and dried his alligator tears. luckily, he wasn’t hurt too bad. he had a huge red mark on his forehead, but no knots or bruises. whew.
i thought we’d made it out free and clear with no dropping of the baby, baby rolling off of the bed or couch, etc. haha! wait til the second one gets here. he/she’s gonna have to be a tough one. i feel the division of momma’s attention might assist in many more bumps and bruises!

I can’t count how many times Mac has fallen off the couch,bed,etc … so Riott should consider himself lucky to have made it this far:) My second one is doomed ….
Are you expecting? I hadn’t heard that you were, but it sounds like you might be from this last post! Can we celebrate yet?
Don’t be too hard on yourself about the fall. Lilly had a black eye a few months ago from falling off the kitchen counter….and yes, I let her sit up there, so I’m not up for mom of the year either!
hahah! no. we are NOT expecting, at least not yet.
soon though. soon. and i’m pretty excited about it – maybe.
