so many new and fun changes are happening around our little home! first of all, tyler randomly got a call friday with a job offer!!! and though he really liked working with my dad, there’s not a whole lot of room to move-up any time soon… soooo he got the call friday, met with the guy friday night for 3 hours!, met again sunday for a few minutes, and starts TUESDAY!!! woooohooo! i am thrilled because he’ll be working about 5 minutes from our house in BRASELTON!!! we can go back to late nights, normal mornings, lunch together, etc. yay! yay! yay! we’ll post some pictures of his “new” work soon. 
yesterday, we were all at small group and riott decided he wanted to be loud and play soooo… i took him outside. small group is at the most imaculate house and property i think i’ve ever been on. think pottery barn country “cottage”, swimming pool, weeping willows, flowers galore, rolling hills, open pastures, on the lake. whew. what a home! so riott and i played outside by the pool, in the perfectly manicured lawn, etc. he loves having his feet dipped so i did that over and over as he giggled away. finally i set him down to take a break and randomly said, “riott, can you say ma-ma?”. he just grinned with his mouth closed and sheepishly looked at me. i didn’t think he would respond but asked again anyway, “riott, can you say ma-ma?” he looked up at me and said “ma-ma”. AAAAAHHHH! he said it as i asked!! he’d been saying mama and dada when he wanted us, but never when we asked him too! i squealed and laughed a little, and we continued playing.
then this morning randomly, riott’s playing around the living room and he accidentally makes noises that sound like “uh-oh” (which i’d been trying to teach him last week). so i went with it and repeated the noise… and he did it again!!! though nothing was being dropped, broken, or spilled (a rarity here) he crawled over to his other toys alone and talked to himself saying “uh-oh… (baby talk) uh-oh, uh-oh, uh-oh… (baby talk) uh-oh (baby talk) uh-oh.” yay! yay! yay! we’re having so much fun with him as he grows so quickly!!!
