for those of you who don’t know our 17 mpg jeep liberty had over 96,000 miles, a dying a/c, had been in what carfax calls a “major accident” (they said the airbags deployed but that is false), it needed new tires, etc. in other words, it’s life was hanging by a thread. so, we decided to trade it in. here’s our new family vehicle. better on gas. same interior size. better for the environment. a compact car.
and much to my surprise, Beckie decided to give me my Christmas present this month – sewing classes and… da da – a SEWING MACHINE!!! crafty linds is making a comeback.
i can’t wait to start making stuff. after my first lesson with Beckie, i think i’ll start with some curtains for the house, a new bedspread, and a couple of blankets for cooler fall weather. hehe. yeah, okay… maybe a pillow case.
riott got to go to his first motorcycle race with dad and uncle justin. and he still loves his playdates at the mall.

I love the new car! Its very cute!!! I have been longing for a sewing machine so when I get mine you will have to teach me all your tricks (i’m sure you’ll have plenty of time to learn)!
