it’s stupid. it’s just plain STUPID. (thank you tonia for the greatest phrase ever!) i remember when i was in elementary school and the looong summer days seemed to drone on and on forEVER! i would come up with the coolest stuff (i miss my imaginitive days) to do while waiting for summer to finally end so school could start again. how did those days last so long when all i had to do was eat, take a nap, go swimmin, ride bikes, etc.? who knows. all i know now is that – once you have a kid months feel like weeks, weeks feel like days, days feel like – what? they’re already gone!? it’s stupid.
in 5 whole days riott has:
-got 2 more teeth in (top incisors)
-started army crawling to his toys… off the rug… across the room… TO THE POWER OUTLET, TV, CORDS, etc.
-oh wait. started pulling up on THE COUCHES…
-oh – AND STARTED CRAWLING ACROSS THE ROOM ON HANDS AND KNEES
-NOT TO MENTION – PULLING UP ON THE OUTSIDE OF HIS WALKER AND LETTING GO ALL-THE-WHILE HOLDING HIS BALANCE FOR 20+ SECONDS BEFORE CRASHING TO THE GROUND.
ugh. oh. <sniff>. i just want to cry. i feel like i just had him yesterday. he’s growing too fast – it’s stupid.

I can’t believe how big Riott is getting! I hear ya, about the time going by so fast… each morning, Clark looks bigger and bigger. I can’t wait for them to meet each other in just a couple of weeks!
